About Referoo
Your recruiter is using Referoo, an online platform that automatically contacts your referees by email and SMS to request an online reference. Your referees will not be called unless your recruiter chooses to do so.
Before Adding Referee Details
- Ask your referee for their permission to be nominated.
- Tell them to expect an email and SMS from Referoo so they can complete the reference promptly.
- Ask them for their contact details if you do not already have their email and preferably mobile phone number.
If no email address is provided, in many cases the referee cannot be contacted to provide a reference. If you are unable to provide the required details, contact your recruiter to ask if they are willing to complete a phone reference instead. Their contact details can be found in the nomination email or in the top right-hand corner of your Candidate Dashboard.
