If you don't believe you will be a suitable reference for the candidate who has nominated you, please return to your email invite to decline the reference.
Within your email invite please select the Click to Decline link and you will be taken through to the below page where you can provide feedback to the recruiter.
Please provide your reason for declining then confirm by clicking the 'Decline Reference' button.
When you decline
When you decline a reference request:
- The candidate’s recruiter receives an email letting them know you have declined, and the reason you have provided for declining.
- The candidate receives an email letting them know that you have declined and they need to nominate another referee. They will not see the reason you have provided for declining.
- Your information is removed from the Referoo platform.
